THE FUTURE HAS NEVER LOOKED BRIGHTER.

The company was incorporated under the name of Sub-Tech Precision Ltd. The new business started off in a small unit in town where it started to machine precision components for local companies.

As time moved on, more machines were introduced to the facility and more staff followed.

Not long after, it became apparent that there were more areas of engineering locally that required support and there was definitely a gap in the market for what they had to offer.

In 2014 STP Fabrication Ltd was incorporated and additional premises were acquired nearby. The appointment of another director shortly followed to undertake the day to day running of the welding and fabrication business. Both businesses have gone from strength to strength and in 2016 both companies moved to a new facility on Enterprise Court, off Gapton Hall Road.

Today the company has grown substantially in size with approximately twenty five full-time employees in the workshops and on site, with sub-contractors also playing a big role in keeping up with the demand.

The directors have big plans for the future and now offer a multitude of services to the offshore oil and gas, subsea exploration, nuclear, renewable and construction industries, working alongside arguably some of the biggest names in the world

In 2020, despite all of the challenges presented to our business and the manufacturing industry in general, STP are pushing forward and making waves in the Oil and Gas and renewables sectors.

This year we started two new businesses within the group, to offer a more turnkey solution to the global energy requirements.

We now operate internationally, offering more services than ever before, all of which can be found in the various sections of this new “group” website.
